I wish they'd get Skubal.

According to wRC+ the Mariners had the #3 offense in baseball.

Our starting pitching was 13th in ERA.

Skubal and Woo at the top of the rotation would compete with any top 2 out there. Should be priority #1 when the other guys we're talking about are Brendan Donovans.

That's an interesting way to look at it....and I would not be upset if they added Skubal, not one bit. But when I look at this team now, and how it relates to next year? I feel that it is much more likely that the starting Pitching bounces back, and the offense looks much more like the beginning of last year than the product we saw at the end. They need a bat or two more.
