It worked, but Dan should have let Emerson finish that inning. He was not losing anything, and if we are doing a 6 man rotation then let SP go to 110 pitches unless they obviously don't have it. You have the extra time off for recovery.

Of course I don't know, but it appeared to me that Emerson was on fumes, gassed, and vulnerable. I would have taken him out.

Rucker pitching the 8th is all Dan's fault. Let Emerson finish the inning and then Bazardo and Spier in the 7th and 8th.Without the extra leverage arm the Starters have to do 7 innings most of the time, if they don't, they are screwed....like they are now
