That really should have been a blow out. Sure the O's had 14 hits just (2 XBH doubles) but 0 BB and scored 9 that is a lot of cluster luck. The M's had 13 hits (6 extras 3 HR, 3 doubles) and 8 BB and only scored 10.

Yes, my favorite manager just rode Leake into the ground and came within one batter of handing him a loss with a 10-3 lead. Somehow the M's managed to stagger over the line with a win, but it's not the kind of game to fill you with confidence in anything.... This is pretty bad baseball..... but congratulations... a win is ......a win. Yikes!!

I have always despised his handling of pitchers.

I like the idea if a opener but under S.S. they have
an opener 20 ERA or some such. Deeper, that game tanked Leake's surface value trade value.

Glad someone covered, I was offline and couldn't make the proclamation. Heroes we are! Three in a row! Too bad Leake couldn't continue to make himself a nice trade target though.
