he would not have been possibly out. it was a groundball towards the hole that the 2b had to dive to get. if Pollock got his head out of his ass and actually read the ball (something easier to read than a fastball), he would have taken off and we'd have a tie game. Especially coming from a veteran of the game, that is fucking ridiculous.
