Ford on the bench? Better to trade him. If White and JK had worked out they'd be in pretty good shape today
Nope, I've already spoken into existence that all will work out, and that none will be traded.

Sure, I don't have a problem with them all working out, at least to the point where you get some value. I'm saying I think they were pretty unlikely with White and JK. They should have gotten more value for those two. The team today would have been more complete today

They don't seem to be in a hurry to decide that
“From the right side, he’s been phenomenal, which is the side he’s spent the most time on,” Dipoto said. “And when he’s flipped left, it’s been a little bit of a tougher transition. … We’re going to continue to try to introduce like one reliever outing in between (starts), where he gets 20 pitches, 25 pitches as a lefty, to make sure we’re not losing that part of what is a super special skill set
They are so obsessed with L/R matchups it isn't surprising. They would pinch hit for prime Edgar with Miles M. because a RH reliever came in.
I don't have a problem with them exploring the possibilities. You know Cijntje is a natural leftie. He began pitching with his right hand because his father did. I've wondered about that with hitters that hit right but are natural lefties. Could they learn to switch hit? .

Ip obviously know they aren’t going to all work out and this isn’t going to happen. I figured it was somewhat obvious that my post was tongue in cheek

Astros came pretty damn close didn't they, again wasn't criticizing your post. Just made me think about those two failures

It really is hard to predict. Both were amazing for the first few levels, then just couldn’t make the jump. Who knows how much was healthy for White.

White wasn't a particularly high pick, but like you say he seemed to develop. Looking at that 2017 draft, see who they could have picked, nobody, what a terrible draft. The only first round name I really recognize is Jake Burger who went 11th

Just checked Sunday's Everett box and I guess it's starting to get fun up there, eh?

How about this for a lineup?
Farmelo cf 1-5 3b 2 rbi
Emerson ss 2-5 HR 3 rbi 2 runs
Arroyo 2b 2-5 2HR 3 rbi 2 runs
Montes rf 0-4
Suisbel 3b 2-4
Peete lf 2-4 HR bb, 2 rbi

I've never seen an affiliate so loaded. For anyone in WA, you've got to get up to Everett to see this team. Hell, if you're in Spokane, see them when they're in town and same with Tri-Cities
I have dubbed the first 4 the Fab 4. A 2027 OF of Julio/Farmelo/Montes will feed giant herds of Dinosaurs.
Farmelo CF
Celestin SS
Julio RF
Cal C
Montes LF
Arquette 1B
Emerson 3B
Arroyo DH
Young 2B

There's your starting Lineup in 2027. Yes, every single player is going to workout, and they aren't going to trade any of them at the deadline for a .750 OPS guy with 1 year on his contract...

Bench will be Ford C, Robles 4th OF, and Moore (or equivelent).
Oh my I only hope. That OF, oh boy.

How did the AquaSox lose five of six at home to the Hillsboro Hops in early April?

This poster looks forward to seeing Everett play later this month in Hillsboro against the currently first-place Hops.
