Yeah , I think of Beltre and Paul Moyer. Moyer played the second half of a football game with a ruptured testicle. That has to be the ultimate playing through an injury. Whatever Moyer has to say about football these days I hold in the highest regard because of him doing that.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 11:20 amConsider yourself lucky that you can forget about his ruptured testicle. I can not.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 11:17 amFor me i pretty much limit it to the possibility of playing through the injury. All players get injured. Some players have a greater ability to play injured. The player that can't is going to be considered more injury prone. You basically can't play through broken bones so it isn't an aspect of being injury prone to me. There's also an aspect to how they play, if it's with abandon that could make a player injury prone. Haniger is an interesting case. I don't remember it well now. Seems like there were broken bones. But also I got the feeling he actually could have over conditioned.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 12:47 pm
When I think of injury prone I think of guys like Paxton and Penny.
Would love to see a study of guys that were injured the prior season and not injured the prior season to see if there is a correlation between how healthy they were in the current season and if any injuries were related or unrelated.
Felt like Haniger was a lock to be injured again in 2023. Let's see if Murphy stays healthy in 2024. Giants obviously think he will.

I wonder what it is about our men's fertilization stations that make it so painful to get injured there. lol

Yeah there's a bunch of nerve endings there and it seems to be about encouraging you to protect them. Interesting Beltre refusing to wear a cup even after getting hammered there. Must not be concerned about reproduction

The aspect of getting injured all the time.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 10:58 amHow does it work? What aspect makes him prone?GL_Storm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 6:39 amYes.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 2:25 amMurphy missed games due to a broken foot, broken thumb, dislocated shoulder. So he is more prone to being injured?
