Re: 2025 Prospects Thread
It's great to give guys a shot but if you're really serious about making a playoff run at this point you should put that stuff aside, there's plenty of time to give Williamson his shot. I'd like to see them get more offense out of 3rd base.

me as well but Moncada isnt a clear upgrade to give up prospects for IMO. Along with injury history where he is at presentlyDonn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 4:02 pmIt's great to give guys a shot but if you're really serious about making a playoff run at this point you should put that stuff aside, there's plenty of time to give Williamson his shot. This trade got all thumbs down via M's fans.
If the M's had aspirations for winning a world title, they'd do it in a second. But they don't... so point is moot.
Re: 2025 Prospects Thread
His OPS is about 200 points higher than Ben's. Seems significant but the Angels are only 1 game behind us. They could be buyers and we could be sellers by the deadline.desbcoach wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 3:00 pmI have seen a couple outlets saying Moncada and another 3B as potential trade targets. I can’t see moving on from Williamson unless a huge upgrade. He is hitting 0.257 and decent defense, hitting 0.300 since he has changed his stance. Needs to be a true upgrade for what ever we trade. I see 1B as biggest spot bc we don’t have anyone on Farm unless we teach Ford at AAA.

Cute. Arroyo hit another homer today and is OPSing over 1.300 in the month of June.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 3:49 amEmerson been raking

Yet, Emerson gets all the love.
Crazy.

I can't remember the random scout's name I saw post on X, but he had Arroyo as the #1 2b prospect in the game when he dropped his t10 2b so there are people out there recognizingSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 4:26 amCute. What do you mean 23K? Oh, his strikeouts? Yeah, that’s about the pace that Laz was there for his first season
