I've done the additional player allocation an hour earlier than I said - all 10 regular protagonists are in so hopefully I haven't cut off anyone who is entering at the last second.

The rules for allocating players were posted about halfway down Page 5 of the thread (link - click here) and this is how it landed.

All it should have done is take you back to page 5, just the explanation in how I allocated everybody an additional 2 players  (it might work now)

Once again, thanks for all the hard word. I know I certainly appreciate it.

I must ask if I am being punished for saying it should be called The British Open? I look at the allocated points and DT is getting another 105 points and some of us are in the 20's... I jest of course. I'm just happy to play.

As always a pleasure, I don’t like allocating players as a wildcard really.

But I think everyone has to have 6 players to give us all a good chance of keeping 3 alive for the weekend. I can’t see anyway around it. Picking 6 ourselves for each contest will probably result in very similar squads being selected.

I’ll let you off for saying it’s the British Open, you strike me as a bit of a traditionalist who knows deep in their heart it’s really called “The Greatest Mother-Fucking Golf Tournament in the World, Sponsored by Mostonmike”

Of the people on this board, I believe you are the only one that likes golf more than I do. :D

If you are ever in Washington State visiting DT, we will have to play a round..... or if you ever make it to Spring Training, we can play.

And you are right. I am a bit of a traditionalist......well, that may be a bit of an understatement.

Echoing thanks for putting this all together, mostonmike! As a coug, I have no idea how this scoring system works, but I am all in.

Also, I haven't played golf in six weeks or so at Bellevue Muni, but getting together with some ancient MIHS buddies Sunday at Legion at Everett. Played that course for the first time last summer and it's a nice public course. My new local favorite.

Any late scratches for tomorrow at "The Open?" Seriously, I always called it, "The British." But I'm woke about it now.

I am going to start calling the US Open the Open formally known as the British Colonies Open.
