If Wilson was playing he does not take that walk. Rivas has a good eye of the strikezone. Not a good hitter but he wont swing at much trash as Wilson has.

Why I've never liked the idea of a low avg / high obp guy at leadoff.

To me hits carry more momentum.

Some good observations! I wouldn't worry about where Brendon Donovan hits nor Young hits.. maybe they will alternate one or two!!!Just as long as they hit before Cal, Emerson, and the rest who belong in the bottom three.

That is true keep Young in top 3. Maybe Young Randy Donno then Canzone. Will see what happens. No wah they hit lower then Julio or Cal. I wouldent move Young right now since taking 1st he wont stop hitting. Donno would be a perfect 3 hole hitter.
