My guess is Jerry will try to get Soto on a steal type of deal Woo or Miller and a top prospect and Jerry isn’t trading Ford, Kirby or Gilbert no matter what. If Jerry can get a Soto bat for his lineup without trading the farm he will and all this trailer trash we are accumulating is to make sure we are covered if his goal of a trade steal doesn’t happen then we can still trot out a team by opening day.

What would be more painful. Pennix losing the Heisman or watching Vogey run the bases.

Literally ZERO bats on that roster worth Gilbert other than the two untouchables, Adley and Gunnar.

Jerrys fav thing to do is to trade. So, that’s what’s going to happen.

I let them know we would take Santander for Hancock.

Blake Snell is raising the 12th man Flag tonight, any chance that is part of the pitch for the Mariners.

Would be nice to add another left hander to the rotation especially one as good as him, I would be 100% on board with Snell and Soto instead of Ohtani.

Santander would be an exceptional fit on this team. I could see letting Hancock go but that's probably not enough, and you obviously wouldn't give up Miller or Woo for Santander alone. So if it's Miller or Woo, then it has to be a bigger deal, maybe with a third team. But maybe for Santander alone something like Hancock plus a prospect in the 15-30 range would work. Santander is Arb 3 coming off a great season, which is pretty expensive so, depending on their budget, the Orioles could be motivated.
