wow, just a terrible PA there by solo-hr Cal
Yea he sucks with runners in too scared to put it in play. Thank God it didn't matter but wow!!! Great to see Julio starting to get hott. Top of the order on fire tonight fantastic work!!!!

If Polanco was not hurt then Ford would be here. He would be taking Garves spot. Ford can dh and help Cal but Shit old forgot how to hit Polanco is wasting abs away from dh spot while we have a prospect hitting 300 in the minors

Yea that would have been amazing. Evans POG Cal close 2nd!!!

Bazardo even does his job. This pitching is pitching a whole lot better of late of this offense can stay at least decent we will be OK!!! GIVE EVANS THE GAME BALL!!!

Probably most impressive part is the Nats lineup was all LH for the game and Evan’s handled them, great game

it's like he's allergic to men on base
With men on he has a .971 OPS. RISP .846 OPS.

Lets go after someone other than Cal lol.
Seriously, ridonkulous

what a way to start the homestand

now get back at it tomorrow, righty on the mound, get Polanco back going again and let's get 2 Ws towards the sweep! 6--0 week coming

I hope you all realize I'm just giving Cal a hard time. He does hit an inordinate amount of solo bombs, though

Actually seems to be less than the average which I understand is around 55-60% solo
Cal Raleigh hit 110 home runs during his career, 40 while playing at home, 70 while on the road. Cal Raleigh hit 55 solo homers, 43 with a single runner on base, 9 with two men on base, and 3 grand slams. Raleigh homered off 98 different pitchers during his career, connected most often while batting third in the lineup, and drove in 180 total runs when he went deep
