This is my feeling as well. There seems to be a serious lack of energy or desire with this team. They're body language looks very defeatist. They almost look like they're sleep walking out there.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 2:56 pmThe Mariners are failing to show up for an alarming proportion of games. It just appears there is a lethargy or lack of focus and/or hunger with too many players on this team. Where is that coming from? I mean, you had a guy in Severino last night that was struggling to hit the broad side of a barn at times and they couldn't take advantage. Getting to be really hard to be a fan of this team anymore.
There's no team out there. It's 25 individuals. No game plan. You have everyone going up to the plate trying to hit home runs every at bat. Even guys with little power like Crawford.
They need an experienced manager with a track record of success who can breathe some life into them, who won't let players just go through the motions, and who the players will respect. These milquetoast managers they've been using are not getting the job done.

Yea why trade our future 1b. We literally have no 1b of the future unless they can move Ford thereSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 4:09 amApparently Tyler Locklear is in the deal.
Weird to call him up and then trade him.
I figured they'd be interested in Locklear considering they don't have a 1B next year.

That's huge. Maybe he and Naylor can glue these guys together. Hope that hand is healthy.

That would be ideal but Mr. selfish primadona don't wanna move there. Sorry but that's pure selfishness.seth8734 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 4:13 amYea why trade our future 1b. I'm guessing Walter Ford and Teddy McGraw are the pitchers in the deal.

Hunter Cranton is another guy that's pretty interesting. And there's Michael Morales too.
