Morosi agrees that Nimmo is a pretty good option

It'll be nice once the picture is clear of which teams are going to be sellers and which will be buyers.

The Brewers, the White Sox, the Cubs, they all have some talented players and are kind of on the fence of contention.

It is frustrating that in the most important off season in history, we're already hearing other teams being linked to the stars and there's never a peep about the Mariners.

Everywhere I look it's "the Giants are going to make every attempt to sign their lost son and bring him home," in reference to Judge.

Why is it when Conforto was a free agent nobody said, "oh... well he might want to go home to Seattle!"

I really hope the M's start winning some championships so they can put a big ol' boot up MLB and ESPN's ass.

At least Passan was on Seattle radio the other day saying Judge is an obvious fit and the M's should be in the running.

And yet we didn't hear a single wink of Cincinnati being a trade partner. It just came out of left field, and yet, they'd been talking about it for months. The M's obviously Plat things close to the vest.

It'll take different ownership and a completely different type of GM than the ones we have for that to happen. I don't think it's in Jerry's DNA to seek out superstar marquee players in the middle of their prime through free agency

Um, JRod came up playing mostly RF. Would his skills be better applied there if we were to sign a FA CF? Would it save his legs? Would he be better defensively? I don't know which is why I am asking. But I did know he played a lot of RF in the minors, so would it make sense to mover him to COF if we signed someone like Nimmo?

Good question. He will move there eventually but guessing not for at least a few years....

I think the luster around him playing in CF is pretty appealing.

Griffey played there. He's the next coming. He was an All Star. He made wow plays out there.

Gotta keep him there.

The Brewers have many players due for arbitration, but they still look like they're going to contend. We'll see.
