His needs to retool his first pitch swing concept that he's adopted this year. I know why he's doing it, and it's working to an extent. He's decided he's only going to make one giant swing per AB (sometime 2),and after that he swings for contact, explaining the increase in grounder singles.

I think he should switch to only making the big swing in a good hitter's count. 1-0, 2-0 , 2-1 and 3-1. I think he'd get back to better power that way. On 0-0, he should be selective.
