What do you think polanco signs for?
At least $10 mil, maybe more. Probably a one-year deal with an option.

And I don't think the Cubs are still trading Nico.

Favorites now to land Sasaki?? How did this happen? How are we now listed as one of the favs? I know its a no brainer on that he'd be successful here but its just been crickets on us meeting him, etc.

He may not be wrong...

But this guy isn't a reliable source. He's a soccer writer lol.

Sports journalism on the internet is more or less dead in terms of reliability. Any fan can write some bullshit and it will get published.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. It's a crappy franchise with no real direction except to make money. And even though they could be making boatloads of money with a contender, we're stuck with a pretender.

Maybe? Of course that's what they are counting on, I pointed that out when the off season began. Dipoto does not see the issues you guys do
. Maybe they're counting on full seasons of Randy Arozarena and Victor Robles. And a much better season from Julio Rodríguez. Oh, and bounce-back seasons from Garver and J.P. Crawford. There's a new manager in Dan Wilson and they finished 21-13 after he took over late in the season

That's been obvious- and the main problem- since at least 2021.

Yep just need the miracle health of the Rotation to continue, hope Robles isn't a fluke, hope Garver at 33 yo bounces back from a complete implosion playing in a park that he has a .128 career BA, hope Randy's down year wasn't the beginning of a decline, hope Julio bounces back, Hope JP bounces back, hope Raley doesn't begin to regress now that he is over 30. Hope they can piece a Bull pen together. Hope totally unproved internal options can man 3B and 2B and hope Haniger can get off his Death bad and go back in time about 5 years.
