I just read through that whole Twitter thread. I too fell like I'm getting punked. Imagine a fan of ANY other team reading that, just embarrassing. Those same people whi thought Gordon was a good player probably say things like "home base" and "points".

The Mariners Facebook post thanking Dee Gordon for his time here had the same comments. Just idiotic on so many levels

I wonder how many people tweeted "Good riddance" in reply and either couldn't or got their comment booted. No way in hell did every fan responding say something like that...right?

You can't delete Tweets (only Twitter admins can if the Tweet is flagged)... only hide them, but people can still click on them LOL... people are actually this stupid.

Is that why all the negative tweets were at the bottom? Because the M's hid them?

Fisher remains a better option than José Marmolejos to fill the hole in left field until the arrivals of the touted prospects.

Are you sure? BR projects a higher OPS for Marm.

Either way it reminds me of looking at the low temps for Boston and Post Falls ID tonight. 5 degrees in Post Falls and 10 degrees here. So TWICE as "WARM" here. I would expect the difference between Marm and Fisher to be equally impactful.
