The Mets are getting desperate for a third baseman.... kicked the tires on a trade for Chapman which has gone nowhere, rumored to be considering Turner.... Great place for Seager to go, he'd be closer to his East Coast Horse Ranch... Mets farm ranks 20th and it has a lot of young full A talent... They fired their farm director... Love to fleece them one more time under their new ownership and management group...

Seager deserves a chance to win somewhere in my opinion.

Class act his entire career.

You guys think if Kelenic kills it in Spring they're gonna start him on opening day?

Or is it a foregone conclusion that he starts in AAA?

Could service time be damned and they want to market a way to get fans in the seats?

If he puts up a 1.000+ OPS they will be forced to consider it. I give him about a 7% chance of being on the OD roster. But hey maybe that is why they opted not to get a LF. imo who gives a F if they control him in 2027 over a quarter century after we last made the playoffs.

My perspective is I'd like to see him get the growing pains out over 162 than over the back half of the season where he's heading into 2022 w. question marks around him. I wanna see him ready to take over the game next year.

That and I'd just like to see him play. Who knows what life has in store in 2027...
