I know I harp on this a lot, but why are we trading young cheap bats for veteran pitchers that are 20+ million a year when we are limiting our spending? This is one of the biggest reasons I didn’t like the Castillo trade. Yeah, it got us a fun playoff run, but apparently ownership is cool with that now and content to have playoffs once every 10-20 years.

I am honestly starting to wonder if we are going to do anything before Christmas. If not we will probably waiting until January.

What do you mean we aren’t? Mariners already made that trade I referred to.

That was before the RSN debacle.
They didn’t spend much money last season either, they are going to limit their budget, then they need to make decisions consistent with lower budgets.
