Their decisions on to platoon on those kinds of small sample sizes
No, instead they rely on numbers from a players career, or the last few years, instead of the current reality.

That's how we end up with bums pinch hitting for guys who have a chance to hit the ball.

Their analytics department is ass. Was obvious as soon as they hired the loser Dave Cameron.

I'm thinking it could be more, rule of thumb, than even looking at numbers, that a hitter generally has a harder time hitting against a same handed pitcher, I'd be curious to ask them
There were THREE instances of Seattle media either wondering or writing an article about when Cole Young might make his MLB debut. None of them had the thought, intuition or incredible initiative or inclination to actually consider Asking Jerry or Justin about it. I don't think you will ever get that question answered. Pathetic incompetent clowns. How did they ever get jobs in Journalism? Their jobs are literally to ask questions and get answers and they would rather WONDER instead ask a simple question.

Dylan Moore now has 6 extra base hits off right handed pitching in 84 plate appearances... they sit him against righty starters.

Mitch Garver and Donovan Solano have a combined 2 extra base hits off left handed pitchers in 109 plate appearances and they PLATOON AGAINST LEFTIES.
They can't be looking at any of those numbers. Why do they even have an analytics Dept.????
That for instance I don't think is based on statistics. I think it's getting guys who aren't starters at bats.

I agree. So eliminate the entire Analytics staff and hire strippers for the seventh inning "stretch"

Holy Shit, that is the best idea you've had in quite a while.
