Phewwww wow we actually pull it off. Facing a bad but always killers Royals next so not gonna be a fun series. Hopefully we can come through. Thornton shocking comes through. Garver and Solano. Julio can fall down some stairs hurt his baby foot and count his pointless cash.
Three of this season's most frequent scapegoats come through. Good for them.

Julio 3 meaningless singles, a non-productive ground out to 3rd in the 11th with a man on 3rd who couldn't advance. Perhaps, no guarantee, but perhaps if he grounded out to 1st Ben could have scored. Would have been risky but he didn't hit the ball where it could have given a chance.
In the 7th he K'd to end the inning.
In the 9th, runners, on 1st & 3rd with 2 outs, grounded out to 3rd again to be unclutch and end the inning.
His 3 singles. By golly, none were infield hits. At least they were "hit to the outfield" singles.

What I want to know is, "Where the fuck is DYNAMIC J-Rod?" God, I miss that guy!!!

Julio's splits are essentially repeat like this every year. The only time he mixed it up was June his rookie season.

April: .650-.700 OPS
May: .750-.800 OPS
June: .650-.700 OPS
July: .900 OPS
August: .900 OPS
September: .900 OPS

His success is likely coming... it's just frustrating that he repeats the same thing every year.

He's not even supposed to be on this roster.

They've gotten very lucky with how he's pitched.

Should probably put him on a minor league team where it's warm until July 4. Maybe he'd warm up sooner?

A pitcher shouldn't be credited with a blown save in extra innings if he only allows the guy on 2nd base to score.

But that's his job, keep the guy from scoring

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

WOW. Late game heroics from Garver, Solano and Thornton. Sometimes the game does us a solid.
