Torrens with 12 HR in about 170 AB. He also has 6 in Tacoma this year in 70 AB. Would have never guessed he could have 35+ HR type power.

I really liked his ABs, thought he and France were steals in the Nola trade.

I really don't think he can keep up that pace, but if he finishes with 22-25 or so in MLB ABs for us, I'll be very happy.

What is really scary is that Raleigh is still learning!

Who would you rather keep if you had a choice?

KK or Marco?

I'm going with KK because although inconsistant I think he has better stuff i.e. a 96-97 mph fastball.
Marco can't even hit 90. To me that is worrisome.

Cal is blocking bad pitches, framing pitches, throwing out baserunners, and barreling up balls.... putting on a bit of a show tonight.

I think we're watching our starting catcher for the next 10 years minimum. He just looks like he belongs back there. And as you said, he's only going to get better. I'm excited about him.

Yes he's having a hell of a game. We just might get lucky and finally get a decent catcher after all of these years.
