Small sample but France had the second best UZR 150 of any 3B last season. Not saying this makes him great but hard to believe he could be second if he was bad. With a full season of Perry Hill's tutelage I think he will be at least average.

I would've preferred LaStella, Wong, or Moore manning third base than Ty France if I were gonna play my best defender over there. Ultimately it didn't work. I wouldn't be surprised to see if Dipoto goes back and gets his guy when the playoff push time really comes. I'm looking forward to seeing Marte's first season stateside as well.

I still would've taken Wong and his defense at 2B. We could've had the #1 defensive tandem up the middle in the entire League! Hell maybe the best defensive infield!

Can't believe he had a .476 OPS with us and a .987 OPS with the Brewers. If he would have hit like that for us for most of the season, we probably would have made the playoffs.
