Read an item where a scout felt Alek Manoahs problems stemmed from being out of shape, ya think?
Yeah. Well, Bartolo Colon never looked liked he skipped too many meals either.

Talk about a guy that belongs in a beer league. I'm assuming he was basically that size the season before or did he show up at spring training with a hundred extra pounds.

This is the guy we kept in Tacoma so Luke Weaver and Dom Leone could pitch and we traded for cash. He had a 2.29 ERA and a 14 per 9 K rate. Idiots.

Yes, I can see that Colon was much slimmer and more athletic…

Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.

One of the rule changes that mlb approved was to allow the runner more room on the infield side on the first base line.

Maybe they need a double wide 1B.

A lot of prospects combo's that we have can easily add up to Naylor's $13M.

Three red flags though:

Didn't play OF last season
Never played more then 122 games
.723 career OPS prior to 2023
I would disregard the career numbers as he's been solid for the last two years and he's 26. He'd be awesome as a DH-1B. The question is, what's too much to give up for him? Woo? Miller?

Yes, that would be too much. Only have him for 2 seasons.
