Early trade rumors
Early trade rumors
I guess Jerry is sniffing around for infield help on the trade market.
I don’t think there’s anything sexy out there.
from what Adam Jude‘s article said it was speculating that they were scrounging through other teams, minor league, veteran additions for players with promotion, clauses, and opt out

Don't know about wasting away, seems to be enjoying himself, his last seven days .444/ .500/ .704/ 1.204
Re: Early trade rumors
So it sounds like they're looking for players on the discount aisle and not willing to do an overpay.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:04 pmI guess Jerry is sniffing around for infield help on the trade market.

Re: Early trade rumors
With the addition of Bregman, Devers was there for the taking. The ask would have been steep, but he could have been our regular 3B. Third base is a train wreck right now for us. Our whole infield has been a bit of a mess, TBH.
I wonder how soon till they call up Williamson…

Re: Early trade rumors
The budget is set. They aren't going to take on salary two weeks into the season. Besides, teams NEVER trade legit Major leaguers in April. Almost never do in May.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:43 pmSo it sounds like they're looking for players on the discount aisle and not willing to do an overpay.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:04 pmI guess Jerry is sniffing around for infield help on the trade market.

Re: Early trade rumors
And the red Sox aren't trading him, they're trying to win. Besides Devers is signed to a 10 year $314 mil contract. In your wildest dreams do you see the mariners trading for that
Re: Early trade rumors
Please tell me you are joking. There is a better chance they trade for Putin to play third than take on that contract.Big_Maple wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:45 pmWith the addition of Bregman, Devers was there for the taking.
