Time for the Inaugural PGA Championship Contest.

Tournament is at Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, North Carolina

The prize
The winner of this contest gets the honour of being the first one to pick their players for the US Open, which will operate with a draft format, meaning each player will have a unique team. Full details of the US Open to follow in early June when we’ve argued for 5 pages.

How-to-play
* Protagonists to choose 5 players from the list below.
* No replacements after 2 rounds so choose wisely.
* If 3 or more of your players miss the cut, you are eliminated from the contest, thus 3 of your 5 players need to qualify for the final two rounds.
* Spending money is 100 dollar-pounds, no point in retaining money as there are no replacements.

Scoring
* Your best 3 players will count for the first two rounds.
* After 2 rounds and the cut, you must choose which 3 players you are taking through to the weekend.
* Ties will be broken by the guy that picks the highest finisher, and countback to next highest finisher can apply.

Deadlines
* Deadline to select - tee-off on day one (any really, really late players can select from players who have not yet started their first round)
* Deadline to pick final three – first player tee-off on Saturday, if you don’t choose your own final three, you will be given your best 3 at that point as your selection by default.
* Players can change their original selections right up to tee-off on day 1, but please use new posts where possible rather than edit old posts.

Anomalies
* It is possible, but unlikely, that the leader could actually be eliminated from the tournament if they don’t get three players to make the cut. This is to promote protagonists to choose a balanced team rather than just choosing a squad with 2 star players and a pile of pish that miss the cut.
* If you select any players who do not start, you can replace them with someone who hasn't yet teed off otherwise they will be replaced from the same price level using a random algorithm.

Two places in the field are being held for the winners of the Truist Championship and ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at the weekend.

There are other players available to choose including players from the Corebridge FInancial Team (denoted by * ).
In the event of any errors, or where I might have quoted players duplicated - the higher value price will be used (eg. 5DP and -5DP in error, we will take the 5DP price)

The left hand side box you do get for minus 40. They are the invites from the PGA and some from the PGA club professional competition. Was it Jimmy Walker who came through that route to win a few years back?

The right hand side of the image have prices but as far as I can see they are not qualified or invited at this time.

Sounds like we need to introduce an overall ranking system. I might work on that if we want to do a draft for the Open Championship (British Open). It could be based on performance in last 4 majors.
