GT 5/9: Blue Jays home game at Seattle

I've been to a couple of the Toronto at Seattle games and they were both about 66-75% Blue Jays fans.
Tough pitching matchup, depending on what version of Luis Castillo we get.

It will be interesting to see how many Jays fans are here this weekend. In the past, they've been all over town before games (not only around the stadium).
But I have read that Canadians and kind of staying away from, American stuff right now. Whatcom County businesses are suffering. We'll see if the carries over to Mariners games. (Or maybe a lot of the BlueJays fans live locally and just come out of the closet? lol)

I feel US border folks need to question Canadians as they come down to cross the border.
Border person: "what brings you to washington?"
Canadian: "oh, we're coming down to see our Blue Jay's beats the Mariners"
Border person: "yea I'm going to need you to pull off to the side and step out of the vechile".....begins to put on a latex glove with a smile

Thornton to IL with appendicitis and T. taylor recalled. hopefully he knocked rust off from oblique that caused him to miss most of ST
In other News Sam Habgerty called up to Rangers after swinging a hot bat at AAA 0.379 lately

Good God what an insane travel day. $259 mi from Morro Bay California up to Brandon State Park 50 miles east of Oakland. Left at 10:00 a.m. and just got here a half hour ago. We will be here over a week so we can relax.
