The next 2 series could be brutal. We need our A game. Lineups to follow.

From the front cover of the great Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I'm on the way over to save the day. Going to be there for the Yankees series, then down to San Diego - will catch probably 2 of the 3 there before of course sinners paradise Las Vegas. And I've bought a new laptop, DT so can do a bit of work on the Golf - so get your entries in, folks.

My Mariners in-the-flesh record is a shocking 0-3 at Fenway, but 2-1 at T-Mobile against Houston.

Oh and for good omens I'm avoiding Heathrow after the Spring Training fiasco - coming in from Amsterdam around 4pm Monday PDT, so we should just make the game tonight.

Go M's.

The curse strikes again, a one hour delay to connecting flight from crappy KLM leaves us stranded in Amsterdam. Dozens of people missed their flights to all over the world. Shocking how they can't make a 1 hour flight run to schedule. No idea why Delta would use them as a partner airline. Compensation to us is going to be close to $1,500 according to the websites.

Wife says "no way" to going out to see the sights.

Arrival is now tomorrow. I bet I miss Hancock's perfect game. Or Schmidt's perfect game, more likely.

Go Ms but I ain't watching now at 4am CET.

If it wasn't for bad luck , you'd have no luck at all.

It's starting to look like the window for this team was 2022-2024. None of us should be surprised that the young pitchers are breaking down given the percentage of high 90s fastballs that they throw, that's just the way pitching has evolved (sadly). But i seriously doubt we'll see all 5 of the original rotation healthy at the same time again. It will be a lot more of Hancock and Evans and the MoR stuff the bring to the table. They're going to have to do it with offense more and more going forward

Damn. Yankeers inundating the M's with Schlitz; 1Bman Paul Goldschlitz and RHP Clarke Schlitz. Hope they've both guzzled a few.
