Remember Chris Taylor?

Just got released by the Dodgers, at the end of a four-year contract worth $60 million!
He was worthless for the whole contract.
What a bandit!
Here’s a guy in his mid 30s, filthy rich, after stinking it up.
While I’m on the phone with Amazon, trying to get a refund for 30 bucks.
My oh my.

And he was woefully underpaid for being a solid ballplayer from 2017- 2021. Some of these contracts I swear are "make-up-for-underpaying you" deals.

The real question is he worth a flyer at the league min while dodgers are paying? only hitting 0.200 tho.

He is beyond cooked so Jerry might do it.

Unibrow would be a massive upgrade over Solano and would come at a minimal cost, making cutting Solano palatable to the M's.
I'd sign Chris Taylor in a heartbeat if it means releasing our albatross.

It would be a massive downgrade from Cole Young so why?

My guess is Taylor hangs it up. The only reason to try to hook on with another team would be to see if he can get to 10 years service time, which guys do seem to care about.

If C.Y. is ready, yeah, prefer him over C.T. Is he truly ready?
ANYTHING to get D.S. cut & gone.

CY has been an absolute stud for 10 + games. multi XBH just crazy hot. If you could ride a hot streak like he is on you could get a couple of weeks of a star-level player. We have seen this happen a few times: Cade Marlowe comes to mind.
I agree with all the guys bitching about masturbation over Leo the lion and his .313 .441 .333 .774 136 OPS+ line this year and he held his own last year 0.3 WAR in 86 PAs and now this year he has a total of 145 PAs and a 0.9 WAR. Play that hot hand.
