Marc James is a new host on the radio at KJR. Yesterday, a viewer chimed in to talk about the fact that he doesn't like RRS because of the Australian accent. James agreed, made fun of his accent, and more-or-less said he shouldn't be calling baseball.

Not something I agree with. I think RRS is a quality broadcaster.

Arkins was on this guy's show yesterday and decided to tweet last night about how he "wont make that mistake again" after finding out that James had gone after RRS.

The text at the top is James' response lol.

Dtrain posted that in the game thread earlier. Marc James is a loose cannon and KJR is probably regretting hiring him. He seemed to hit it off with Hugh Millen and Softy though.

Idk much about him... he certainly upset the fanboy section of M's Twitter.

I just can't stand Arkins. He's not wrong... Arkins is SO boring and generic.

Jason Puckett went off on Marc James a few days ago as well. It's pretty funny in my opinion.

Puckett still bitter over getting canned? What's he doing now?

I forgot, it was Jim Moore who got canned, then Puckett quit in protest. I wonder if he has any regrets about that.

Now desperately trying to save his job issues the prerequisite apology, next will come checking into treatment
. “I want to sincerely apologize for my actions which transpired on Tuesday,” James began. “And I want to personally apologize to Ryan Rowland-Smith and Luke Arkins, because neither one of them deserved what I did. It was absolutely unprofessional, it was reprehensible, it was inexcusable.”

“I’m new here and it’s taking me a long time to find the way to get acclimated, and that was not me,” James insisted. “That is certainly not someone that my family, my father, would be proud of. And all I ask of you is I ask for your forgiveness. And I hope everybody out there, that I can gain your trust, including the local media, especially Ryan and Luke, personally, and my colleagues here at KJR. I do not speak for them. This was on me. I’m the one who did this, and I need to learn a valuable lesson.

“And I will take this as someone who has a lot of work to do, I’m a very flawed individual. This is not indicative of the type of human being that I am. So I ask you, Seattle to give me a chance. And hopefully, in time, I will earn your trust and you will forgive me and understand that something as unprofessional and unacceptable as I did, does not define who I am.”
