Everyone projecting him to bat 4th.
It doesnt look like a bad lineup to be fair. But saying that will obviously invoke a forum curse and the top 5 will go 2 for 22 tonight.
I read somewhere that the Mariners have an MLB-best .270 batting average and .346 OBP on the road, and only the Brewers and Cubs have scored more runs away from home.
Thats a crazy statistic.
Go Ms

The Dbacks are ranked 4th, i hadn't really grasped how good their offense has been. Pick up Suarez along with Naylor it's going to move you up to the top 10

Heyman says it is going to cost Sloan and Arroyo for Suarez

Man, if you add Suarez and subtract Williamson, and that's a lineup that'll thump on opposing pitching.
I'm going to the game tonight, sitting right behind the Mariners' dugout. Who's jealous?

I wonder what happened with Luke Raley.
His walk rate is way up.
His K rate is down.
His OBP is up.
But his batting average and power are way down.
Just looking at the numbers it looks like he's not attacking pitches anymore, he's trying to get on base more. Backfired if that was the plan...

It's time for Crawford to be X'naed from the leadoff spot. Move Cole Young or Jorge Polanco up there. Naylor in the 3 hole. We can use this deal to reconfigure the set lineup, Dan. Something like this:
Young
Rodriguez
Naylor
Raleigh
Arozarena
Canzone
Polanco dh
Crawford
Williamson
OR
Polanco dh
Rodriguez
Naylor
Raleigh
Canzone
Arozarena
Young
Crawford
Williamson

He is struggling to handle the outside stuff and the other guys know it. He’s also out of options so Jerry’s hands are kind of tied

I'd tell them to GF themselves and let them take some overrated trash from the Yankees instead.

I like Luke. Like watching him steam around the bases and he plays a good OF. That said, maybe the M's can move him in one of these packages for a reliever and not have to use prospect capital. He should be playing in the OF every day. 3 yrs of control left. He has value.
