Naylor back in the 4 spot. Can someone explain to me why that makes sense?

It appears they are hitting him 4th against righties and swapping he/Randy against lefties.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 5:53 pmNaylor back in the 4 spot. Can someone explain to me why that makes sense?
He's a .872 OPS hitter vs righties this year.

In other news, it seems Solano and Moore are casualties when trades are made given their current playing time.

He's a good hitter and he's got more pop than his HR total would indicate, plus it's a good matchup for him today. I think it'll work out.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 5:53 pmNaylor back in the 4 spot. Can someone explain to me why that makes sense?

Well that sort of makes sense but i'd put him 3rd ahead of Cal. He's still more of an on-base guy than a power hitter.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 6:13 pmIt appears they are hitting him 4th against righties and swapping he/Randy against lefties.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 5:53 pmNaylor back in the 4 spot.
