Here is a list of pitchers that will be free agents after this year who are on teams that could likely sell that are among the top 100 reklievers in FIP.

Other than Munoz 2.27, Brash, 2.82 and Speier 2.60, everyone currently in the M's bullpen has an FIP over 4.

There are a bunch of interseting guys who have control remaining that are getting into Arbitration and will probably be available as well. Seems like we ought to be able to pick up a couple of relievers fairly easily.

FIP is kind of an odd and silly stat.

Bazardo has a FIP of 4.03 and ERA of 2.70 in '25.

He had a FIP of 2.70 and an ERA of 4.88 in '24.

There's no argument that he's not a much, much better pitcher this year.

That said, Fairbanks would be nice. Coloumbe from MINN would be great too.

where do you find FIP?...Ryan Helsley is expected to be traded

Can I have them both, especially if you don't get another bat.

FIP would be a more useful stat if BABiP was based entirely on luck and fielding.

I think we get Saurez. But I think a fall back would be

Willi Castro with a 109 OPS+

I think if we don't win Saurez here is a target that I have not looked out much put Pi was said to have been willing to listen to offers on:

Big noisy tools: 6'7" 100the percentile arm, 29.2 FPS sprint speed. Bat speed and Exit Velo 100th percentile, Barrel and hard hit % 99 percentile.

He's been between 105 and 113 OPS+ so far. He's maxed out at 2.5 BWAR. But his potential is the best player in baseball. He's been a 20-20 player already and this year he is at 34 SB and 17 SB

I have no idea what a package would look like.

Cruz is kind of like Luis Robert from a couple years back in the respect that the tools are too loud and the potential to boom is too big for them to trade him at his low point compensation wise.

He's got 3 more years of cheap control and I don't think the Pirates are in the business of getting rid of one of the few players that fans have any interest in.

What you think, lock down the last four innings, the suggestion is Ford and Evans. I think I'm doing it, that makes the mariners an actual WS possibility and Ford is blocked. And you could afford to still add another bat. If the Twins are looking to rebuild Ford could be hard to pass up

With the eighth and ninth innings solidified, rational thinking may be that the Mariners add a middle reliever on the cheap and focus most of their attention on the offense. Yet with some big relief names potentially up for grabs this deadline season, the Mariners have reason to swing big, particularly if the Minnesota Twins make flamethrowers Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax available. Duran has been his usual dominant self with a 1.86 ERA and 16 saves, while Jax has rebounded from a rough opening month to post a 2.43 ERA over his last 37 innings, which includes a dominant 58-10 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

It feels to me like it would take more than Ford and Evans to get that done. BTV has Evans valued at 10.4 Ford at 19.4 while Both Duran and Jax are over 25 a piece.

I think I like this guy if we are targeting a reliever from Minnesota.
