Quite a few surprises. M's looking smart for sticking with Raley and Young and trading for Donovan. Naylor has been a shit show.

Hard to complain about those guys at the top.

And the guys we can complain about havent gotten many plate appearances, so can't complain too much. We just need the middle of the order to hit like it.

There are a lot of guys around the league struggling to get going though, hopefully ours are warming up now. I noticed even Jose Ramirez had like a .500 OPS before his homerun the other day.

There's an unusual amount of parity now actually. I read, like every team in baseball is within at least three games of first place

In the Astros series, the M's position players put up 1.7 fWAR... leading the league over that 4-game stretch.

Prior to these 4 games, the M's position players had put up -0.1 fWAR over 13 games.

The 4-game stretch elevated them from 28th in the league to 19th.

Must be nice for the Dodgers... Kyle Tucker and Shohei Ohtani have combined for 0.8 fWAR thus far... but their 25 YO CF, Andy Pages, is the best player in baseball at 1.6...

The rich just keep getting richer.

yeah, and they really are an old team, it's important if he's injecting some youth
