If you asked me that 2 weeks ago I would have said hell no but no I think there is a decent shot in Sept when rosters expand.
Donovan is meeting the team in Chicago this weekend. Why in the hell would you want to watch more Rivas ABs when Donovan is ready..

He wont he activated unless he can play defense as well. Cal better be ok swinging a bat and not rushing it. Losing Dom hurts who has been amazing.

He has gotta be ok playing defense as well lunging out making a play. No room for him just to dh.

Cal needs to drop in the lineup. He's not advancing any baserunners on base ahead of him. He's not driving in enough runs. His OPS which is meager .652, 10th on the Mariners.

He is meeting the team in Chicago and it won't be to DH. He will likely pay third tomorrow.
