When will Brennan Davis get his shot?

2-4 with another homer bumping his slash to .289/.408/.996.
That makes 8 homers in just 33 games or... 40 homers over 162.
He should be making Refsnyder's seat pretty hot before too long.

I still cant believe they made exactly the same mistake they've made like 5 years in a row and got another washed up loser "platoon bat". Refsnyder. Pfft.
Now they're going to ride that six million bucks into the ground for awhile until they're willing to concede what we all knew when they signed him.
At least Raley and Canzone are hitting.

At least Raley and Canzone are hitting.
What drives me insane is that Canzone hit .276/.712 vs. lefties last season. Perfectly fine but then Jerry thinks he has to get all clever and completely flush $6M on Ref who is now at .119/.449 vs. Lefties....Imagine if we would have just let Canzone hit lefties and and used that $6M for a legit reliever.

One caveat about Davis is he has done nearly all his damage on the road at the Mile high hitters parks of the PCL and has sucked at Cheney stadium which is really the only pitchers park in that league.

Here's intel on BD getting a shot or not from today's MLBTR.
I used to be able to use the snipping tool and post here but it looks like mlbtr has thwarted this unsavory practice of spreading their news.
So, look up the article on your own damn internet

So it looks like they'll add him to the 40 later today or maybe tomorrow, whenever the deadline is in the contract.

Yep we get to watch the $6 million dollar man who is hitting .116 vs. LH pitching flail away for two more months so they can pretend he was a good signing and pray he remembers how to hit.
