Sox' lefty Suarez has has a pretty good track record. However this year left-handed batters seem to beat up on him. I'm too lazy to find out who exactly hit him well, but maybe we should stick with yesterday's lefty lineup. Once Mastro batted, there were 7 consecutive L batters. What will Dan do? Joe, Refshucker, and Robles reporting for duty, Sir!

Far better than 10:10 pm that I used to have to deal with but yeah all the night game times should start with a 6.

The difference between the best and world is about 4 wins. Seems about right. If Dan just didn't ever PH Refsnyder he would prob be mid pack.

The problem is they don't really have an alternative. Sure start using lefties in those situations. They aren't going to do that. They are trying to get Refsnyder going, to do that they are sacrificing at bats. It's sacrificing them now to get the plan to work properly going forward. At some point they could alter it, that probably be a deadline deal for another right handed bat. You can complain it's because they are paying him $6 mil. Sure, but there was a reason they gave it to him. He was very good at hitting lefties. It's time to replace him? Okay, the deal is you aren't going to be much happier with the replacement. You are not digging up an Edgar Martinez at the deadline. Do you keep wasting at bats trying to resurrect the guy that raked. Or give up and settle for at best mediocre replacement. The thing they have going for them is being in first place. That gives them some breathing room to keep trying to fix him.

What about the decisions he doesn't make, like when he leaves struggling pitchers in too long. That was a huge issue last season.
