Not at Arkansas, one of the worse places ever to hitMichael K. wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2026 3:44 pmHaven't we had plenty of guys destroy the baseball at that level?
Not in Arkansas. Kyle Lewis actually hit better for us as a rookie than he did for Arkansas. Michael Arroyo and Lazaro Montes are hitting much better for Tacoma than they did for Arkansas. Just saw where Felnin Celestin is off to a 9-52 start in Arkansas, bummer.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2026 3:44 pmHaven't we had plenty of guys destroy the baseball at that level?
9 for 52? That is a hot streak for Cal right now.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2026 4:52 pmNot in Arkansas. Kyle Lewis actually hit better for us as a rookie than he did for Arkansas. No. Not even close to what he is doing....Julio is the only guy to put up a 1.000 OPS in the Jerry era and it was 1.002 He is at 1.150.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2026 3:44 pmHaven't we had plenty of guys destroy the baseball at that level?
Oddly, Evan White hit pretty well there and it translated to the next levels in absolutely no way, shape or form whatsoever. He's now 30 and out of baseball, cementing his place as far and away the worst player ever to win a Gold Glove Award.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2026 7:25 pmNo.
