BTW does anyone know what Donovan was doing when he got beaned in the head during warm-ups/bp? I mean, aren't there safeguards against that type of thing happening which is why yoh never hear about it happening ever? I'm thinking there was some basic protocol that was ignored given how lax and careless this team has appeared to be all season.

He couldn't get out of the way of a batting practice pitch? And was he wearing a helmet? What's the source on that anyway because the radio guys (KJR) were puzzled by it as well.

I don't know, but what I've noticed about this team is that they have just about the lowest baseball IQ of any team out there. The mistakes they make over and over again really frustrate me.

Now saying that, there is no doubt in my mind that the Mariners will not tell us what really happened. But most likely, it was stupid prank or bullshit rough housing thing...... MORE STUPID SHIT!!!
