Gilbert gets the start tonight.
There's a chance, at least a 54% chance, that Logan Gilbert gets to 200 strikeouts. He's got 2, possibly 3 more starts to get that stat worthy milestone.
What else will that get us? Nothing. He may be traded in the off-season. With 12 wins, he remotely could get to 15. As for Mariner starters, he's first in wins (tied with Woo), first in War, first in era, first in K's, 1st in innings pitched, ties for 1st in WHIP (with Woo, again). Yeah, he's also first in HRs.
Seems like many here have said get rid of him...Please God, NO.

Laz more than living up to expectations. The high K rate and .231 BA is more than acceptable when he is slugging over .600 for a .931 OPS.

Chuck Powell had brutal takes on some of the players this morning. Said it was clear Naylor quit on the season a while ago and implied that JP is selfish and not a team player. And Julio just doesn't have the makeup to be a star type of player.

Julio's talent, athleticism and potential should make him a perennial MVP candidate.
Instead, he reinvented himself as The Joker or Bozo the Clown. What a waste.
