It is unbelievable how stupid, petty, and uninformed the left makes people. He mentions Washington and Jefferson as slave owners amongst those assembled in Philadelphia in 1776. He wants us to change the flag to a symbol of hope. He neglects to mention Franklin,Adams and others as those who were deeply offended by slave owners. He neglects to mention that those deeply offended people fought and died to end slavery under the American flag. You want a symbol of hope....there is none better than the red white and blue of the American flag.
