We are sitting on an island surrounded by a lot of water between the 5 worst teams and the 24 teams ahead of us.

Miami, KC, Detroit, Toronto and the O's are between .303-.375. We are at .415. The next worse team is the Mets at .444. Anything is possible but I would say there is about a 75-80% chance we end up right where we are.

If you throw out the 13-2 start as an anomaly the M's have a .329 Winning Percentage over the last 79 games. If they play at a .329 clip for the remainder of the year that will put them at 61 wins. The bottom 3 spots are out of reach but Toronto and Miami are both on pace for 61 wins right now. I think they might be able to move up one or two spots if things fall right. They just need to keep running an opener out there.
