Tom is doing Great! 7/23 game thread

Mariners put on the line the longest win streak they have had in a month (and the longest win streak I have had in my career as a threadmaker). Tommy Milone at the bump. Nola, super utility will play 2B while Beckham is DH (go figure, better to put a C/1B at 2B than Beckham...).

Brett Martin gets the ball for Texas. I assume as an opener as he averages just over 1.0 ip per appearance.

I was shocked to see earlier today that Nola has played 430 games at SS and 97 at 2B

Jerry please don't trade Dee. He's one of the only reasons to watch the Ms. Work on pitching. It's currently sinking us

This tweet is wrong on three levels. See if you can point out all three.

Non-baseball ? Two punctuation errors and the double use of singular adverbs in the same sentence.

Interesting that our 2 top 3B prospect aren't even playing 3B. Rizzo at 2B and Shenton DH, played LF a few days ago. I think they are moving them all around though. Honeyman played 3B for WV today (and hit his 7th HR extending his hitting streak to 18 games). Shenton played there a few days ago with Honeyman at 1B. Shenton has also played in LF in the last week.

Honeyman is I think supposed to be the best Fielder in the system, and his bat has been heating up. He's been on a tear Will be interesting to see what happens with these 3 throughout the next 2 years, as they are all pretty close to each other development wise.

Lol.

1. They somehow like watching Gordon play. That was the gimmee.
2. They say to "work" on pitching. Perhaps they would have traded Gordon for pitching.
3. Why does he care what is currently bring the team down in a meaningless season on the field????
