Thought I would look towards Churchill for an inspirational quote. We damn need some inspiration after this trip to Florida so far.

Interestingly, after his big speech he's supposed to have hung up the microphone and muttered to advisors, ".... and we will fight them with the butt ends of broken beer bottles because that's bloody well all we've got". The irony is not lost on some of our misfiring lineup so far this season.

Yet the stats defy what's happening. This graphic shows we are a finely poised match with Miami yet there are on W7 and we are L4 streak.

Hopefully today will be one of our finest hours.

This is sort of masochistic but I'm looking forward to seeing Sandy Alcantara pitch. Hopefully our guys can squeeze out a few runs though. :)

So from a health perspective how are extended ST games different than AAA games.

They’re shorter games against A ball players? It’s 90 degrees, better for old man Lewis’ aches and pains.

You're playing other ML teams extended spring training rosters, but I don't think they rotate
.the game itself might not proceed in an orderly fashion. Priority is given to MLBers playing in the games, so situations can be rigged to make sure they get their work in. For example, it’s possible that the same player will be the leadoff hitter for many innings in a row. Or alternatively, a player going through rebab that might not be ready to hit will play the field but never take his turn at bat.
It's probably also about the team personal there, trainers and all that, keep a close eye on your rehabbing MLer
