Bumping this thread. So, what are we thinking about Andrés Muñoz?
His next game will be number 200 so a fair sample size is now in and ready for analysis.

What worries me is how he does against that first batter. Yesterday he walked him having been 1-2. Even Kelenic wouldn't have swung at the 2-2

OBP first batter .266
I just think if he can get that first out more effectively we are talking a closer who is absolutely from the top drawer. I like him a lot, but he doesn't half make you shit your pants when he steps up for that first batter.

When you have stuff as good as his you should challenge the hitter with 2 strikes. The hitter is expecting a waste pitch in the dirt so won't swing. Shock him with 100mph in the zone.

I thought he wasn't too bad to be fair on the podcast.

His criticism of Marine Layer might lie in the fact that he didn't become a podcast millionaire himself? I am surprised him and DT didn't push on with their podcast. There was definitely potential in it.
