Dominican Republic... looking over his GM history, it's interesting really. I would call it flamboyant, hired by Marge Schot at 31, and that was before the wizkid age. That's probably what suits him for broadcasting rather than GMing. He could be dipoto if dipoto was a high roller
I know man. I don't know anything any more. I never thought I would go insane but I am so close.

Bowden is a relic. Guys like him used to have some cachet as "insiders", but the sports media environment has changed so much that he's basically become irrelevant. I'm surprised The Athletic still pays him.

.As brilliant and creative as he could be, he was disliked by many -- if not most -- of his fellow GMs for his cocky (sometimes abrasive) nature. And that sentiment didn't always stop at the Cincinnati city line. As one NL executive put it Monday, "I heard him bad-mouthed as much inside his organization as outside
Who does that sound like.., okay enough Jim Bowden,

I doubt it. There's no money in that business anymore.

Doubt what? Dipoto in broadcasting? If he was looking for a job, look at the guys that go into it, it's big egos that like to talk, Bill Bilichick being the latest. I could see dipoto selling himself in that market

I don't think there are that many broadcasting jobs for guys like DiPoto. Traditional sports media is mostly gone. ESPN is a shell of what it once was.
