Charb is average 2.1 yards per carry this season after 4.3 and 4.2 his first two seasons guessing he will be back to 4 by the end of the season but yes I do like K9 better. Much more upside.trharder wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 1:00 amThe RB situation - it reminds me back in the day when DK would go off in one game and it be Lockett's turn the next.
Charbs is not as bad as that game and probably never better than a healthy Walker was yesterday.
Sorry for saying what I said after the 1st game, K9. lol.

Blows me away that anyone has watched them both and thinks otherwise. Walker is a game changer. Block for the dude and look out. The O Line got destroyed in week one, and Seahawk fans blame the back.

Didn't look like he had much room to run yesterday either.....Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 4:57 pmBlows me away that anyone has watched them both and thinks otherwise. Given the way he was struggling why didn't the coaches conclude that the situation was more favorable for Walker and give him the bulk of the carries? I would think they will need to recognize how matchups could favor one or the other of those two RBs going forward in order to realize their goal of having a run heavy offense. Clearly their running styles are different.

It's Bizarre and reminds me of the draconian obsession the M's have with Platoons!!!Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 6:35 pmGiven the way he was struggling why didn't the coaches conclude that the situation was more favorable for Walker and give him the bulk of the carries? I see we're feeling better about the team this week.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 4:57 pmBlows me away that anyone has watched them both and thinks otherwise. Walker is a game changer. Block for the dude and look out. The O Line got destroyed in week one, and Seahawk fans blame the back.

My opinion that Walker is the better back has never changed. One guy is explosive, and the other is a blodder. No reason to not use Charbo as a change of pace, but the theory in this place that he was the better back has always confused me. One guy was the best RB in college football and tore up the NFL his rookie season...the other is Charbo!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 9:29 pm
I see we're feeling better about the team this week. And we should stomp the Aints this weekend, although we're at home where we inexplicably struggle (while inexplicably owning the east coast) and a repeat of the game against the Gnats last year is always a possibility.

As for my opinion on the play caller, what I don't like about Defensive minded Head Coaches and the staffs they surround themselves with, this O Line and Sam Darnold? I think I've made myself incredibly clear. Beating a Pittsburgh team that damn near lost to the Jets is a good thing, but doesn't exactly change my mind a ton.
The Jets offense in two games.
1st Downs
23 week 1 and 11 week 2
Plays
62 week 1 and 47 week 2
Yards
394 week 1 and 154 week 2
Passing Yards
212 week 1 and 54 in week 2
Rushing Yards
182 week 1 and 100 week 2
Time of Possession
34:43 week 1 and 21:39 in week 2
In case you were wondering? The Jets played the Steelers in week 1.
Re: Postmortem: Seattle v Metcalfdropsemburgh
49ers have a good D and the Steelers have a bad D so in reality our offense is somewhere in between week one and week two. Hopefully closer to week 2.

Would sure like to see Charb catch a few balls... With our lack of WR1's I think we should hit a few more RB/pass options.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 4:29 pmCharb is average 2.1 yards per carry this season after 4.3 and 4.2 his first two seasons guessing he will be back to 4 by the end of the season but yes I do like K9 better. No chance JSN isn't a #1. Maybe Charbo has better hands, but the thought that he is a better weapon out of the backfield than Walker also perplexes me. Again, one is very explosive with the ball in his hands. The other? Is Charbo.Nwadventure wrote: ↑Wed Sep 17, 2025 5:33 pm
