Re: Around the League
Will the Raiders even win another game this year ?
Re: Around the League
So... my understanding is that as a minority owner and 7 time SB winner, Tom Brady's words carry a lot of clout in Vegas.
And how's that been working?
1. Geno Smith shouldn't be starting in the NFL. Yet Brady's Raiders gave Smith a staggering two-year, $75 million contract extension, with $66m guaranteed.
2. Pete Carroll was out of the league and headed toward retirement.
One Vegas fan stated, "Tom Brady is to the Raiders what Michael Jordan was to the Hornets".

Life is complete. Now you too can be like the Montana family and shop the Lululemon NFL Collection.

Seriously I still hate the Raiders after all these years.
Except for Jim Plunkett. For some reason I enjoyed his game. Or maybe it was his football face.
Janikowski was entertaining as well.
Pronouns: Kiss/My/Ass
Re: Around the League
I never hated the Raiders, they always made me laugh. Al Davis was a nut. And his son? Oh man, that haircut.
But gotta be Bo Jackson. I also liked Tim Brown and Howie Long.

Amazing how some guys can be such brilliant players but such dumb executives. Matt Millen and Isiah Thomas really come to mind.douche wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 6:22 pmSo... my understanding is that as a minority owner and 7 time SB winner, Tom Brady's words carry a lot of clout in Vegas.

Re: Around the League
The Rams are projected to have the 10th pick in the draft via the Falcons plus their own, that's just so wrong
Re: Around the League
Marshawn Kneeland has died. He played two seasons for the Cowboys (DE).
From Wiki:
Kneeland lived in Plano, Texas. He died on November 5, 2025 in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 24, during his second season in the NFL. Following his death, the Cowboys released a statement describing him as a "beloved teammate" and sending thoughts and prayers to his family. On November 6, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Kneeland had been involved in a police pursuit the previous night. The chase was terminated after officers lost sight of his vehicle, which was later discovered abandoned following a crash. Kneeland was found nearby with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His death remains under investigation.
