Marshawn Kneeland has died. He played two seasons for the Cowboys (DE).

Kneeland lived in Plano, Texas. He died on November 5, 2025 in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 24, during his second season in the NFL. Following his death, the Cowboys released a statement describing him as a "beloved teammate" and sending thoughts and prayers to his family. On November 6, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Kneeland had been involved in a police pursuit the previous night. The chase was terminated after officers lost sight of his vehicle, which was later discovered abandoned following a crash. Kneeland was found nearby with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His death remains under investigation.

This is an insane and sad story. The guy had his best NFL game a few days earlier. Calls his girlfriend, family, says he's going to end it... Goes on a wild ride, cops chase him, lose him, he gets in an accident, hours later gets found dead from suicide in a port-a-potty.
