O line is awful. End of story.
I look for.them to continue to improve upfront this off season, and wouldn't be shocked if they try to upgrade at QB. Schneider has to realize now that the weakness the O Line has wasn't fixed by a few coaches and a different scheme.

They had to feel WR was the bigger weakness, and that's why they addressed that at the deadline. But we have to be honest with ourselves, IMI. If you told me back in August we'd win 11 games this year? I'd have been thrilled. Sure wouldn't have thought that was ever gonna happen in mid December!
It wasn't that WR was the bigger issue - it's that that's the position group where JS could find an upgrade and make a deal for it - if there were interior oline deals to be made for an upgrade - he would have made one. Schneider is always looking to make improvements - as he has shown - but he's not going to accept terrible deals. Who is dealing away top olineman? No one. You have to overpay for the position and he's not going to do that.

If we are this bad against the Colts, I do not like our chances on Thursday. As much as this team's ceiling seems high, consistantly inconsistant and uttely baffling bumbling on offense leaves me with a bad feeling about this team come playoff time. I would not favor Seattle over either the Lambs or SF right now.
I wish I had something to argue with, but I don't.
It's hard to figure just what the deal is. I think some of it is teams figuring out what we do best and plan to take
that away. Are they sometimes being conservative on purpose? Probably, but other times it appears they just can't
get past that O-line that is suspect - still. It felt like the JSN connection has been off, but he had 113 yards, so
perhaps I was just spoiled and being unrealistic. I do hope Kubiak does a few of the things that we've been bringing
up - like go up tempo when the offense is struggling and get Sam moving more.

We were one shitty Darnold pick or fumble away from losing this one, so good for him for not turning it over.
I guess...
I have to wonder if seattle isn't showing what they do best - but rather holding it back for the Lambs game and not wanting to put tape out there. There has to be more in the playbook than we are seeing - and we have seen the offense have success - especially against the Lambs in the last game. Maybe Indy's defense is that good? I mean, they were 7-1 at one point. I dunno, it's been really baffling to watch - maybe there is a strategy behind the buffoonery.

Jason Myers for MVP!

Short week, big game on Thursday. Two 11-3 teams going at it for the division.

From msn.com:

2. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks got a scare from Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts, but a win is a win. Seattle moves to 11-3 on the season and are now tied for the second-best record in football. Seattle is still second in the NFC West and have a huge tilt with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. That game could ultimately decide the division this year.

Seattle is no. 2 in our NFC playoff team power rankings and could go on a deep playoff run this year.

The Rams game will be a better gage of how well this team is playing now. With regard to Indy, we'll have to wait and see how Rivers fares against other defenses. What was most disturbing was the inability to run the ball and it's hard to assign blame for that at this time. The O line is supposed to be better at run blocking but if the play calling made it obvious when they were going to run, that would explain a lot. I believe the combo of Walker and Charbonnet is not the problem.

Or how well they're not playing. Big test at Lumen on Thursday. Going to find out what this team and coaching staff are made of. Fun game!

Future defenses will have something the Hawks and their coaches didn't.....film on what Indy did with Rivers.
