I am just having some difficulty following the scoring system. Like I said, following the below set up -

A = actual number of games started
B = predicted number of games started
C = actual number of O and/or D snaps
D = predicted number of O and/or D snaps
E = actual number of ST snaps
F = predicted number of ST snaps
G = actual PFF season grade
H = predicted PFF season grade
abs = absolute value
S(p) = score of an individual player

W = abs(A - B)
X = abs(C - D)
Y = abs(E - F)
Z = abs(G - H)

If I chose 13 starts (A) and he makes 17 starts (B), and I take A - B? I get a negative number. So, are we being punished more for going over the number?

Just disregard the negative sign, it only matters how far you were from the actual season total. So for games started you were off by 4 and then multiply that by 10 for 40 points.

Seems he did pretty well but I am with Maoling, I don't regret entering this contest. And I am a numbers guy! LOL

Well, I had to come up with a new idea for a contest to replace the Position Group Ratings contest on short notice after the sponsors pulled out. The good news is that the scoring will be easier next year due to the Seahawks having just 5 draft picks.
